Planet positions are calculated from the site's refreshed JPL Horizons cache. Select an observing window and a planet for details. Low planets (7°–15°) are marked purple; planets below 7° are muted.
Visibility uses Horizons positions and solar altitude: dark-sky opportunities begin below −6° solar altitude; Mercury and Venus may qualify in civil twilight. Local obstructions, atmospheric transparency, and glare can still prevent observation.
